Barrett is a Partner and General Counsel at Uzzi & Lall. She has more than seven years of experience protecting and advancing the financial interests of corporate debtors and their stakeholders, including secured and unsecured creditors, equity holders, and other investors, in various transactional and litigation-related matters in complex chapter 11 cases, out-of-court workouts, and related transactions.

Prior to joining Uzzi & Lall, Barrett was an associate in the Financial Restructuring and Insolvency Practice of White & Case LLP. She began her legal career at the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

Barrett earned a J.D. from Vanderbilt University Law School and a B.B.A. in Managerial Finance and a B.A. in Spanish from the University of Mississippi.
